Since graduating with Bsc (Hons) in Nutritional therapy I have worked in my private practice in Central London. In 2014 I came to Breathe London, a well established clinic on the South Bank (Waterloo) where I lead a Nutritional Therapy service.
Prior to this I spent many years working as a physician at the Institute of Rheumatology in my home town Belgrade. During my practice I observed that diet may play an important supportive role in the recovery of those with musculoskeletal and autoimmune conditions. This has influenced my desire to learn more about nutrition and complementary therapies.
When we moved to London, because of my husband’s job, I decided to change my career and to follow my passion for nutrition and complementary therapies. It also gave me the opportunity to spend more time with my husband and my son and to adjust to our new life.
I spent three enjoyable years full time studying at the Centre for Nutrition, Education and Lifestyle Management (CNELM) and achieved a degree in Nutritional Therapy.
I also hold an MSc in Medical Sciences that enables me to combine the latest nutrition science with my clinical knowledge and to work with clients with complex health issues. All my recommendations to the clients are supported by the latest scientific evidence in nutrition.
I work closely with GPs, consultants and other health professionals and I will always inform them (subject to permission) of any support you receive through me. I insist that support I offer is not an alternative to conventional medical treatment.
